In the Syrian capital Damascus, Nahla lives with his mother and sisters, a single girl who has not yet married and lives a miserable. One day they meet Samir, a young guy living in the United States, he has come to town to look for a girl he can marry. He shows up at the time Nahla dreams of a better life than the life she already lives in.
